Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide directly to us, including account details such as your email address, password, and any business profile details you add in your dashboard, like your business name, tone preferences, owner sign-off, context notes, and reply guidance.
If you connect your Google Business Profile, we collect and store connection details needed to operate the service, including Google account identifiers, location identifiers, and refresh tokens. We also import review-related data from Google, such as star ratings, review text, review timestamps, reviewer display names, and reviewer profile photo URLs when available.
We also collect operational and transaction data, including subscription and billing metadata from Stripe, email-delivery data from Resend, authentication session data from Supabase, and usage data needed to secure, maintain, and improve the product.
How We Use Information
We use your information to provide the core Revara service, including authenticating your account, syncing Google reviews, generating AI-assisted draft replies, sending notifications, enabling one-click approvals, managing subscriptions, and displaying analytics in your dashboard.
We may also use information to troubleshoot issues, detect abuse, enforce our terms, improve product performance, and communicate important service updates, billing notices, and support responses.
AI Processing and Automated Features
When AI drafting is enabled, review content and related business context may be sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, to generate suggested public responses. These suggestions are intended to help you respond faster, but you remain responsible for reviewing and approving the final reply, including when auto-reply features are enabled on your account.
We also use automated rules within the product to classify sentiment, trigger notifications, and decide whether a review should remain pending, be drafted for approval, or be automatically replied to based on your settings.
How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the service. That includes service providers such as Supabase for authentication and data storage, Google for review syncing and reply posting, OpenAI for AI-generated drafts, Stripe for billing, and Resend for transactional emails.
We may also disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests, or to protect the rights, security, and integrity of Revara, our users, and the public.
Data Retention
We retain account information, connected location details, imported reviews, reply drafts, and related settings for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
If you close your account, we may delete or anonymize information within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or backup purposes.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to or stored by the service.
Your Choices
You can update certain account and business settings from your dashboard, disconnect integrations, and manage billing through the customer portal when available. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, subject to applicable law and technical limitations.
For privacy-related requests or questions, contact us at notifications@revara.app.
Children and International Use
Revara is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
If you access the service from outside the country where our operations or providers are based, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the website, dashboard, or by email. Your continued use of the service after an update becomes effective means the updated policy will apply.
